Not even Sig can pronounce the 1911 platform "so ten minutes ago". Maybe a mauve pallet 1911 might be just what I need for spring. So I've read that Sig has sold over 600k of the P365. Just imagine the sucking sound of the price drop when Sig comes out with the P365 Gen2. Sig owners will be dropping that obsolete P365 like a bad habit.The G43 has a better trigger, in my opinion. The P365 trigger has more of a "mushy" feel to it and less of a definitive break. It feels lighter. I go the other way on that. One thing I noticed about that Sig is that it has two distinctly different take-ups, then the wall, then a very slight bit of mush.

I would love to see tremendous market pressure placed on Glock by the P365, and expect to see that honestly because the P365 seems to be extremely popular, but I would be quite surprised to see Glock produce something innovative that the consumer wants. I would definitely buy a 42/43 with an 8-round grip and commensurate increase in slide length.
