Knocking sound in dashboard impala.

When I open any of the four doors or unlock the doors with the remote there is a knocking noise in the dashboard on the passenger side. Even with no key in the ignition AC turn off fans are turned off it continues to knock. I can walk away from the car and it is still knocking.Oh the little man in the back of the dash, knocking to get out. Lol. See lots of these.
