According to the service manual it can't be tested. 2012 Green Sportsman 500 HO. Polaris Front 2878671 & Rear 2878672 rack extenders.

I found a new flywheel, but the stator is a little more confusing. 2001 500ho cdi. Apparently there were 2 different CDI boxes used in 2001. One had 2-2wire pigtail connectors and one had 1-2 wire pigtail and 1-3 wire pigtail connector. Both have 3 single wires, one being a ground. The 3/2 pigtail boxes are plentiful but cannot find any 2/2 boxes except OEM for $400. Feb 18, 2014 · My 2012 Sportsman 500HO has a three phase stator and My stepdads' pair of 2002 Polaris Professional Series 500 do as well. I'm not sure when they made the change but that manual you got the wiring diagram from goes back to 1996. I can probably safely say that anything built after 2002 or 2003 is three phase.

Replaced ignition coil, stator and pick up coil, now new cdi box and still no spark. Guess I will try the speedo next, can't hurt but this machine only has 48 hrs and 303 miles.
