We have been operating for more than 10 years. In that time we’ve opened more than 2,700 unduplicated files, each representing a different family. We serve 380 families per month and distribute 23,000 pounds of food per month. The age minimum is 14 years old with or without a guardian for volunteer opportunities at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and 10 years old with a guardian. For off site volunteer opportunities, such as mobile distributions, the minimum age is 18 years old.
